The story
Ynyshir is one of the most celebrated restaurants in the country — named Britain’s restaurant of the year in 2022 and 2023, and ranked sixth in the UK at the 2026 National Restaurant Awards. In 2022 it became the first restaurant in Wales to win two Michelin stars, serving a 30-course tasting menu that runs for around five hours.
