Privacy Policy
Last updated 31 July 2026This notice explains what happens to your personal information when you contact us through this website, and what rights you have over it.
The short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the contact form. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
Who we are
Hutton, Gather Round, Trinity Church, 14A Queen Square, Bath BA1 2HA. We are the data controller for the information described in this notice.
For anything to do with your personal information, including any of the requests set out below, write to hello@huttoncontent.com.
[If Hutton trades through a limited company, add the registered name and company number here.]
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address and message you give us. Nothing on the form is collected that you have not typed into it.
If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence in the same way.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses and browser details, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use these to identify anyone. [Name the hosting provider once the site is deployed.]
Why we use it
To read your enquiry, reply to it, and carry on the conversation if it turns into a project. That is the only purpose.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to someone who has asked us to — and, where an enquiry becomes a piece of work, taking steps to enter into a contract with you.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share personal information for marketing.
Who else sees it
The contact form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes your message to our email inbox. Their privacy terms are at web3forms.com/privacy.
Our email and hosting providers process the information in the ordinary course of providing those services.
We share personal information with nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party embeds — the films are hosted by us and play from this domain.
That means there is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of. If this ever changes, this notice will change first.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are kept for [24 months] and then deleted. Records relating to projects we take on are kept for as long as we work together and for [six years] afterwards, which is the period we may need them for tax and contractual purposes.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Email hello@huttoncontent.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
